GROSSE, leader in design and manufacturing of dynamically controlled Jacquard machines, presents the new ejp6, last technical evolution of the EJP series, worldwide appreciated for ease of use and high performances. Various improvements in mechanic and electronic modules are increaseing already high quality standards and ensure flexibility, productivity, energy saving, modularity for further upgrading.

Highest productivity in terms of speed and efficiency, ergonomics in pattern changing, flexibility with widest range of fabrics, low rate consumption are the answers to market demands with the new GROSSE EJP6 .

The simple durable design involve a minimum of moving mechanical components while the new electronic architecture is based on modules especially designed for hard mill environments, thereby allowing utilization in all fields of applications.EJP6 is suitable for all types of modern high speed weaving machines (air jet, rapier or projectile) for the production of all types of Jacquard woven fabric.
Jacquard machines in special versions are available depending on whether flat, pile or plush fabric has to be produced.

 

ejp6 hookThe unique GROSSE system for hooks selection is based on lifting knives positioned along the warp direction. This unique feature allows the execution of high format machines minimizing the mechanical load.

All this turns out in perfect hooks selection, minimum spare parts consumption, and last but not least lower power consumption.Offering the maximum flexibility in shed construction and an unsurpassed level of user friendliness.

 

 

ejp6 welleThe rotation of the two main shafts is generated in opposite direction: this helps to minimize vibrations. The weaving shed is formed in all our models by curved discs positioned on both secondary shafts.
According to the weaving machines characteristics (width, speed etc.) discs with different profiles can be used to optimize the shed opening. Discs with dwell can also be used in case of wide width rapier weaving machines to minimize the friction of the warp on the rapiers entering the shed.
Increasing or reducing the size of the weaving shed can easily be achieved by increasing or reducing the length of the knife levers without changing discs. 

 

 

The particular setup for hook selection, based on aplatine magnet that selects the hook when the knife is in lower position, allows a consistent reduction of the energy necessary for the selection, increasing at the same time the reliability of the process.

The modular hook system adopted allows an easymodification of the number of hooks installed, allowing extensions or reduction of the hooking with a simple operation.
Moreover, the single hook can be accessed, thus is making a particularly, easy and economical substitution. 

 

 

 

The density of components in the machine is not particularly high, and this helps in increasing the resistance against dust and high temperatures (normally air-condition is not required).
The machine offers an easy access to all components, so that virtually every single part can be changed in minutes. All this makes EJP6 the most user-friendly machine in the market. 

Invented and patented by GROSSE more than 20 years ago, the “Adjustable Harness Guiding Board“ allows free adjustments of the weaving shed in order to cope with the most difficult warp yarns and optimize the efficiency of the weaving process.
The system foresees one-piece guiding board for standard application and two-piece guiding board for terry applications.


ejp6, following the tradition of GROSSE Jacquard Machines, can be supplied also in additional configurations in accordance with the scope of utilization:

ejp6sis the version for high-speed applications, mostly running on air-jet weaving machines.
The strengthened structure and the reduction of vibrations allow running speeds, in case of small formats, up to or even higher than 1000 rpms.

ejp6x is the version for formats up to 12096 hooks.

ejp6tis the technical execution of EJP6 for terry fabric, worldwide recognized as the best configuration for terry weaving.
Thanks to the individual driving units in the front and in the back part of the lifting knives, users have the following advantages:
• The crossing point between the front and the back can be adjusted individually
• Curved discs are installed with or without dwell standard for both sides.

This guarantees the best conditions for the formation of pile loop in terry weaving.

Moreover, EJP6-T series for terry weaving are equipped with a divided harness guiding board, which allows an independent setting of the weaving shed for pile (normally in the front) and for ground (normally in the back), optimizing the quality of the towel. The system for divided harness guiding board is unique.

Setting the shed for the ground a little bit higher, lower, or even inclined without affecting the pile – and vice versa – guarantees the optimum weaving shed for the perfect loop formation.

ejp6vis the technical execution of EJP6 for velvet fabric.SAM 0523

Thanks to a special pulley combination, the velvet option can be realized as an extension of the terry version adding a third shed.
With the individual driving units in the front and in the back part of the lifting knives, users have the following advantages:


• The crossing point between the front and the back can be adjusted individually
• Curved discs with or without dwell can be installed in either or both sides.


This guarantees the best conditions for the formation of pile loop during weaving.

Moreover, EJP6-V series for velvet weaving are equipped with a patented divided harness guiding board, which allows an independent settings of the weaving shed for pile (normally in the front) and for ground (normally in the back), optimizing the quality of the fabric.

Setting the shed for the ground a little bit higher, lower, or even inclined without affecting the pile – and vice versa – guarantees the optimum weaving shed for the perfect loop formation.
